Cal was a 23 year old registered quarter horse with beautiful and unusual painted markings. He was universally loved by all who visited the farm, partly thanks to his refusal to allow anyone to walk past him without stopping to show him love. He was the labrador of horses, and will be fondly remembered for his silliness, affection, and remarkable style. 

Cal arrived to HORSE of CT in September, and quickly built a community of love. He adored his buddy Thunder and his favorite humans, especially his chiropracter Dr. Rosemary, his farrier Joey, his vet Dr. Shrack, his riders Emma and Sophie, and his family to be, including volunteer Cara. This site was built by his auntie Connor, and is dedicated in his memory.
